In Saturday's non-league game, the host Roosevelt Presidents baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Chester Hambletonians.

The Presidents (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 9 Mid Hudson I game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Our Lady of Lourdes was edged by Saugerties (Saugerties, NY), 10-5, in a league game.
