Illinois High School Baseball - Elk Grove loses to Plainfield Central
April 27, 2024: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 The Plainfield Central Wildcats baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Elk Grove Grenadiers to 3 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats (12-9) will now prepare for their match against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen go into the Southwest Prairie match with a 7-14 record. In their last match, Joliet Central was overwhelmed by Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 18-0, in a league match.
The Grenadiers (2-15) will now prepare for their match against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Bison go into the Mid-Suburban - East match with a 10-10 record. In their last match, Buffalo Grove was overwhelmed by Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 4-2, in a non-league match.
