Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV) and the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), saw Sierra Lutheran's baseball squad edge Pershing County by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Falcons play the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a 2A Northern contest, on Tuesday, April 30. Sierra Lutheran will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 17-6 record after their 8-3 league win over Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV).

The Mustangs now sport a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to Silver Stage for a 2A Northern contest on Tuesday, April 30. Pershing County will encounter a Nighthawks squad coming off a 8-2 league win over North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 2-18.
