April 27, 2024: Elizabeth, WV 26143 Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV), 14-0 in a league test.
With the win, Ritchie County upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Rebels host Williamstown (Williamstown, WV) to battle the Yellowjackets in a Little Kanawha test on Tuesday, April 30. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 15-2. Williamstown won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV)
With the defeat, Wirt County falls to 1-15 on the season. The Tigers host Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV) to battle the Red Devils in a Little Kanawha test on Monday, April 29. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 8-14. Calhoun lost 13-1 in their recent league test against Gilmer County (Glenville, WV)
