April 27, 2024: Bethesda, MD 20814 The Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) lacrosse held off the visiting Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD), 16-15 in Saturday's league game.
The Wildcats (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Rockets enter the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game with a 6-1 record.
The Hornets (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Coyotes enter the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Clarksburg edged Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD), 7-1, in a league game.
