Alaska High School Soccer - South Anchorage knocks off Bartlett
April 27, 2024: Anchorage, AK 99516 South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK), 9-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines confront the Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) in a Cook Inlet challenge, on Tuesday, April 30. South Anchorage will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 2-2 non-league Colony (Palmer, AK).
The Golden Bears now possess a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bettye Davis East Anchorage for a Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Bartlett will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-5.
