Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Bend St. Joseph for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Lowell will face a Huskies squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN). The Huskies record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, West Central falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 8-5.
