New York High School Softball - Saranac Lake bounces Moriah
April 27, 2024: Port Henry, NY 12974 Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY), 10-4 in a league challenge.
The Red Storm now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Saranac for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Monday, April 29. Saranac Lake will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Moriah falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY) to battle the Eagles in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Monday, April 29. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Beekmantown won 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Massena (Massena, NY)
