New York High School Softball - St. Joseph-by-the-Sea bounces St. Francis Prep
April 27, 2024: Fresh Meadows, NY 11365 St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY), 9-1 in a league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Moore Catholic for a Bronx/Westchester challenge on Monday, April 29. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will battle a Mavericks squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Archbishop Molloy (Queens, NY). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, St. Francis Prep falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Terriers host Mary Louis Academy (Jamaica, NY) to battle the Hilltoppers in a Bronx/Westchester challenge on Monday, April 29. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
