Vermont High School Softball - White River Valley bounces Woodstock
April 27, 2024: Royalton, VT 05068 White River Valley Wildcats (Royalton, VT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT), 19-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fair Haven for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1. White River Valley will battle a Slaters squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Otter Valley (Brandon, VT). The Slaters record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Woodstock falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Wasps travel to Proctor (Proctor, VT) to battle the Phantoms in a SVL D challenge on Monday, April 29. The Phantoms enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
