April 28, 2022: Columbia, SC 29212 Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Irmo Yellowjackets (Columbia, SC), 10-5 in a league test.
With the win, Lugoff-Elgin upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season.
With the defeat, Irmo falls to 5-10 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Airport (West Columbia, SC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, April 29. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 18-5. Airport won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Spring Valley (Columbia, SC)
