Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the 76ers battle the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 2. Independence will attempt to better on its 15-7 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 10-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Del Mar (San Jose, CA).

With the loss, Prospect drops to 9-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Leland (San Jose, CA) to battle the Chargers in a BVA - Mt. Hamilton match on Tuesday, May 3. The Chargers come into the match with a record of 24-6. Leland won 3-1 in their recent league match against Leigh (San Jose, CA)
