Virginia High School Soccer - Radford knocks off Alleghany
April 28, 2022: Radford, VA 24141 The Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) soccer bounced the visiting Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA), 9-1 in Thursday's league bout.
With the win, Radford moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Marion (Marion, VA) to battle the Scarlet Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Friday, April 29. The Scarlet Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Marion lost 5-1 in their recent league bout against Graham (Bluefield, VA)
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 3. Alleghany will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA).
