Washington High School Soccer - Hockinson nudges Fort Vancouver
April 28, 2022: Vancouver, WA 98661 Hockinson Hawks (Brush Prairie, WA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Fort Vancouver Trappers (Vancouver, WA), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the R.A. Long Lumberjacks (Longview, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge, on Saturday, April 30. Hockinson will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Lumberjacks enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA).
The Trappers now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland for a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Saturday, April 30. Fort Vancouver will confront a Beavers team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Washougal (Washougal, WA). The Beavers record now stands at 4-5.
