April 28, 2022: Spanish Fork, UT 84040 Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles confront the Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT) in a 5A Region 9 challenge, on Tuesday, May 3. Maple Mountain will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 2-0 league win over Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT).
The Wasps now possess a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Salem Hills for a 5A Region 9 challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Wasatch will confront a Skyhawks team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Provo (Provo, UT). The Skyhawks record now stands at 10-5.
