Michigan High School Softball - Clare bounces Meridian
April 28, 2022: Sanford, MI 48657 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI) and the host Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI), witnessed Clare's softball squad prevail over Meridian by a count of 12-4.
The Pioneers now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Gladwin for a Jack Pine match on Tuesday, May 3. Clare will face a Flying G's squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Harrison (Harrison, MI). The Flying G's record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Meridian moves to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Harrison (Farmington Hills, MI) to face the Hawks in a Freelance match on Tuesday, May 3. The Hawks go into the match with a record of 0-1.
