Virginia High School Softball - Isle of Wight Academy bounces Kenston Forest
April 28, 2022: Isle of Wight, VA 23397 Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kenston Forest Kavaliers (Blackstone, VA), 16-6 in a league challenge.
The Chargers now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fuqua for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3.
With the loss, Kenston Forest falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Kavaliers host Collegiate (Richmond, VA) to face the Cougars in a League of Independent Schools challenge on Friday, April 29. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 5-12. Collegiate lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA)
