April 28, 2023: Paducah, KY 42003 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) and the host Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY), saw Christian County's baseball squad knock off Paducah Tilghman by a count of 4-2.
Coming up next, the Colonels play the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 1. Christian County will attempt to move on its 14-8 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 15-9 record after their 1-0 league loss to Owensboro (Owensboro, KY).
The Blue Tornado now possess a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to McCracken County for a District 2 battle on Tuesday, May 2.
