Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA), 12-1 in a league test.

With the win, Pleasant Valley upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season.

With the defeat, Foothill falls to 10-11 on the season. The Cougars host Shasta (Redding, CA) to battle the Wolves in a Eastern test on Tuesday, May 2. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 10-12. Shasta lost 16-4 in their recent league test against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA)
