April 28, 2023: Jefferson City, MO 65109 Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO), 3-1 in a league test.
With the win, Jefferson City upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Jays host Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 14-6. Excelsior Springs won 13-5 in their recent non-league test against Raytown (Raytown, MO)
With the defeat, Helias falls to 15-6 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO) to battle the Fighting Irish in a non-league test on Monday, May 1. The Fighting Irish come into the test with a record of 5-2.
