The Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) baseball trounced the visiting Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY), 10-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Bluebirds now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 30. Highlands will clash with a Trailblazers team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Cincinnati Christian (Fairfield, OH). The Trailblazers record now stands at 20-3.

With the defeat, Covington Catholic drops to 17-10 on the year. The Colonels host Holy Cross (Covington, KY) to clash with the Indians in a District 35 challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 8-15.
