April 28, 2025: Independence, VA 24348 The Grayson County Blue Devils softball squad (Independence, VA), was routed 16-5 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA)
With the triumph, Fort Chiswell improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Pioneers host Auburn (Riner, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 13-0. Auburn won 18-2 in their recent non-league contest against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA)
The Blue Devils now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Auburn for a non-league contest on Friday, May 2. Grayson County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-0.
