New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Cedar Grove drops to Newark Academy
April 28, 2025: Livingston, NJ 07039 Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ), 12-5 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Newark Academy advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Minutemen host East Side (Newark, NJ) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 29. The Red Raiders come into the game with a record of 1-9. East Side lost 13-0 in their recent league game against Waldwick (Waldwick, NJ)
The Panthers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson Township for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 30. Cedar Grove will play a Falcons squad coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 5-5.
