The Alden Bulldogs got by the visiting Griffith Institute Griffins softball squad by a count of 14-13 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Tonawanda Timberwolves (Tonawanda, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County IV challenge, on Wednesday, April 30. Alden will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Timberwolves go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to East Aurora (East Aurora, NY).

The Griffins (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Aurora (East Aurora, NY). The Blue Devils go into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record.
