The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the visiting Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA), observed Ponderosa's softball team notch a victory over Vista del Lago by a tally of 11-1.

The Bruins (10-8) will now prepare for their bout against Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Tigers go into the Capital Valley Conference bout with a 14-12 record. In their last bout, Inderkum gained a win over Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA), 14-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Bella Vista Broncos (Fair Oaks, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference bout, on Wednesday, April 30. Vista del Lago will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 12-12 record after their 9-1 league win over Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA).
