In Tuesday's league game, the host Great Bridge Wildcats baseball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Nansemond River Warriors.

The Wildcats (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets go into the Southeastern game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Deep Creek by Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 12-2, in a league game.

Next, the Warriors play the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern game, on Thursday, April 30. Nansemond River will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Grizzlies go into the game with a 7-6 record after their 5-2 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
