Kentucky High School Softball - Caverna topped by Larue County

Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Caverna Colonels (Horse Cave, KY), 11-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Larue County upgrades its record to 19-6 on the year. The Hawks travel to Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 29. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 17-11. Bethlehem won 15-5 in their recent league game against Washington County (Springfield, KY)

The Colonels now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Christian Educational Consortium for a non-league game on Thursday, April 30. Caverna will play a Cougars squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 8-6.
