April 29, 2022: Aurora, IL 60506 The Lyons Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host West Aurora Blackhawks to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard West for a non-league game on Saturday, April 30. Lyons will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 20-1.
The Blackhawks (9-15) will now prepare for their game against Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Wildkits enter the non-league game with a 7-11 record. In their last game, Evanston was dropped by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
