Virginia High School Lacrosse - Norfolk Collegiate drops to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy
April 29, 2022: Norfolk, VA 23505 Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA), 16-8 in a league battle.
The Saints now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norfolk Christian for a VISAA Division 2 outing on Monday, May 2. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will battle a Ambassadors team coming off a 19-6 league loss to Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Ambassadors record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Norfolk Collegiate drops to 5-6 on the season. The Mighty oaks travel to Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA) to battle the Dolphins in a VISAA Division 1 outing on Tuesday, May 3. The Dolphins go into the outing with a record of 4-10. Cape Henry Collegiate lost 17-12 in their recent non-league outing against Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA)
