April 29, 2022: Eureka, IL 61530 The LeRoy Panthers softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Eureka Hornets to 1 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, LeRoy improves its record to 19-5 on the year. The Panthers host Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL) to clash with the Knights in a Heart of Illinois game on Monday, May 2. The Knights come into the game with a record of 3-12. Fieldcrest lost 13-1 in their recent league game against Fisher (Fisher, IL)
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) in a Heart of Illinois game, on Monday, May 2. Eureka will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Minutemen come into the game with a 13-5 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL).
