April 29, 2023: Silver Spring, MD 20906 Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD), 12-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wheaton upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD) to battle the Rockets in a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Monday, May 1. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 6-6.
With the defeat, Springbrook falls to 1-10 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Blake (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Bengals in a non-league battle on Monday, May 1. The Bengals enter the battle with a record of 11-3. Blake won 9-6 in their recent league battle against Damascus (Damascus, MD)
