Illinois High School Volleyball - Elgin edged by Streamwood
April 29, 2023: Elgin, IL 60120 The Streamwood Sabres held off the host Elgin Maroons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's league test.
The Sabres now have a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard East for a Upstate 8 test on Tuesday, May 2. Streamwood will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The Rams record now stands at 14-8.
The Maroons (9-21) will now prepare for their test against St. Edward (Lakewood, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, St. Edward was nudged by Jackson (Massillon, OH), 3-0, in a non-league test.
