Texas High School Softball - La Villa nudges Port Aransas
April 29, 2023: Port Aransas, TX 78373 La Villa Cardinals (La Villa, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Port Aransas Marlins (Port Aransas, TX), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weimar for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. La Villa will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Falls City (Falls City, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 29-6.
