Illinois High School Softball - Trico bounces Steeleville
April 29, 2023: Steeleville, IL 62288 Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Steeleville Warriors (Steeleville, IL), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Pioneers now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sparta for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 29. Trico will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Steeleville falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Warriors host Chester (Chester, IL) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 29. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 7-12. Chester lost 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Okawville (Okawville, IL)
