Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA), 4-3 in a league test.

With the win, Alameda upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Hornets travel to Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA) to battle the Dragons in a West Alameda County - Foothill test on Wednesday, May 1. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 13-8. Bishop O'Dowd lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA)

With the defeat, Berkeley falls to 11-10 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Piedmont (Piedmont, CA) to battle the Highlanders in a West Alameda County - Foothill test on Wednesday, May 1. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 14-6. Piedmont lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Saint Mary's (Albany, CA)
