April 29, 2024: Winfield, KS 67156 Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Circle Thunderbirds (Towanda, KS) and the host Winfield Vikings (Winfield, KS), saw Circle's baseball squad beat Winfield by a margin of 16-13.
Coming up next, the Thunderbirds play the El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, KS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 2. Circle will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record.
The Vikings now sport a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 4. Winfield will play a Knights squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Douglass (Douglass, KS). The Knights record now stands at 15-4.
