April 29, 2024: St. Marys, WV 26170 Spectators at Monday's league battle between the St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV) and the visiting South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV), saw St. Marys's baseball squad knock off South Harrison by a count of 13-3.
Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV) in a Little Kanawha battle, on Tuesday, April 30. St. Marys will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 2-15 record after their 12-2 league win over Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV).
The Hawks now possess a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Doddridge County for a Little Kanawha battle on Tuesday, April 30. South Harrison will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-8 league win over Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-7.
