Massachusetts High School Softball - Gardner gets by Quabbin Regional
April 29, 2024: Barre, MA 01005 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Gardner Wildcats (Gardner, MA) and the host Quabbin Regional Panthers (Barre, MA), witnessed Gardner's softball squad tip Quabbin Regional by a count of 12-11.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Narragansett Regional for a Midland-Wachusett C match on Wednesday, May 1. Gardner will face a Warriors squad coming off a 12-8 non-league loss to Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Quabbin Regional moves to 1-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA) to face the Spartans in a Midland-Wachusett C match on Wednesday, May 1. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 2-5. Oakmont Regional lost 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA)
