Virginia High School Softball - Hancock County bounces Thomas Walker
April 29, 2024: Ewing, VA 24248 Hancock County Indians (Sneedville, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA), 22-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to University for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Hancock County will battle a Buccaneers squad coming off a 24-11 league loss to North Greene (Greeneville, TN). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Thomas Walker falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA) to battle the Eagles in a Cumberland challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 15-0. Rye Cove won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY)
