The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Staunton Bulldogs (Staunton, IL) and the visiting Carlinville Cavaliers (Carlinville, IL), saw Staunton's baseball team gain a win over Carlinville by a tally of 8-3.

The Bulldogs (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Collinsville (Collinsville, IL). The Kahoks enter the non-league battle with a 7-13 record. In their last battle, Collinsville held off East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL), 15-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Cavaliers face the Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL) in a South Central battle, on Friday, May 2. Carlinville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Vandals enter the battle with a 7-11 record after their 4-3 league win over Pana (Pana, IL).
