April 29, 2025: Lewiston, MN 55952 The Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN) baseball got by the host Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN), 9-8 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Gophers now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Wabasha-Kellogg for a Three Rivers challenge on Friday, May 2. Chatfield will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Fillmore Central/Lanesboro (Harmony, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 3-6.
With the defeat, Lewiston-Altura drops to 2-10 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Caledonia (Caledonia, MN) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Caledonia won 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Lourdes (Rochester, MN)
