New Jersey High School Baseball - Clifton loses to Hawthorne Christian
April 29, 2025: Hawthorne, NJ 07506 Hawthorne Christian Defenders (Hawthorne, NJ) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ), 7-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Hawthorne Christian advances its record to 6-7 on the season. The Defenders host Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) to battle the Aviators in a non-league match on Thursday, May 1. The Aviators come into the match with a record of 10-6. Hasbrouck Heights lost 12-9 in their recent non-league match against Emerson (Emerson, NJ)
The Mustangs now have a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Passaic for a Big North - Liberty match on Wednesday, April 30. Clifton will battle a Indians squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ). The Indians record now stands at 5-8.
