May 3, 2025: Hawthorne, NJ 07506 The West Milford Highlanders baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Hawthorne Christian Defenders to 1 in the Highlanders non-league win on Saturday.
The Highlanders now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Passaic County Tech for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7.
With the defeat, Hawthorne Christian drops to 6-9 on the year. The Defenders travel to Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ) to play the Lancers in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 3-10. Lakeland Regional lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ)
