Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) and the host East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC), witnessed Weddington's volleyball team gain a win over East Mecklenburg by a margin of 3-1.

The Warriors now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Butler for a non-league bout on Friday, May 2. Weddington will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, East Mecklenburg drops to 11-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 30. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Myers Park lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)
