In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Morristown Colonials volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Vernon Vikings.

The Colonials (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ). The Falcons come into the NJAC challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson Township was nudged by Randolph (Randolph, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings play the Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ) in a NJAC challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Dover (Dover, NJ).
