The Saint Francis Lancers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish to 9 in the Lancers league win on Tuesday.

The Lancers now hold a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Mitty for a test on Friday, May 2. Saint Francis will play a Monarchs team coming off a 16-3 league loss to Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory drops to 10-12 on the year. The Fightin' irish host Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA) to play the Padres in a test on Friday, May 2.
