The Smithfield-Selma Spartans baseball squad (Smithfield, NC), was overwhelmed 15-4 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC)

With the triumph, C.B. Aycock moves its record to 10-3 on the season.

The Spartans now possess a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Wake for a non-league contest on Friday, May 2. Smithfield-Selma will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-7.
