New York High School Lacrosse - Vernon-Verona-Sherrill overwhelms Proctor
April 29, 2025: Utica, NY 13501 The Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the host Proctor Raiders to 4 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Devils now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cazenovia for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 3. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 18-6 non-league win over Elmira (Elmira, NY). The Lakers record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Proctor falls to 0-3 on the year. The Raiders host Whitesboro (Marcy, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a Section 3 TVL- East challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
