Malvern Leopards (Malvern, AR) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Bauxite Miners (Bauxite, AR), 10-8 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Malvern upgrades its record to 20-5 on the year. The Leopards host ESTEM (Little Rock, AR) to play the Mets in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Mets enter the game with a record of 1-17. ESTEM lost 20-4 in their recent non-league game against Pine Bluff (Pine Bluff, AR)

The Miners now own a 16-13 record. They play next when they host Marion for a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. Bauxite will play a Patriots squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Batesville (Batesville, AR). The Patriots record now stands at 17-8.
