The Lincoln Mustangs overwhelmed the visiting Washington Eagles softball squad by a count of 16-9 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Galileo Lions (San Francisco, CA) in a Academic Athletic Association challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 18-5 league win over Mission (San Francisco, CA).
